Pre-race routine:

Tried to figure out what clothes to wear to avoid freezing to death. Actually got too many layers on and ended up hot.

Comments:

This was Jeremy's first running race so I had decided to stay with him. I thought he would walk a few times, but he didn't. I tried to keep him slow so he could finish well. The course was a little icy in spots, but Yaktrax rock! No problems with the footing.

What would you do differently?:

Run in Florida.

Warm down:

Lined up for some treats. Apple cider and half a scone. Yum!

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Ice, cold, slowness.

377 cal Avg HR- 172 92% Max HR- 181 97% I really think I need to adjust my Max HR. I felt fine and was able to talk the whole time. It felt more like 85% instead of 92%.
Course:	Twisty course in town on the trail. Out and back.
