I want to remind everyone that the new company FINISH STRONG is hosting 28 plus events to bring a mix of venues to the area. Their focus is attempting to keep cost down and put on quality events. The duathlon series promises to be one of the best around.
They are introducting THREE new courses that have not been used before in the lewisville, charlotte and cary.

The triathlons will also be vey impressive. So check us out!!!!!!

PS there has been dicussion about maps not being up etc.... This is the first time that we have experiences high volume with our website and we are currently adding items while continuing with registrations. These will be posted and we have extended the reduced rate for charlotte and cary races until jan 15th 2008 feel free to email us at [email protected] or you can email me with questions. By the way we will be glad to link you to maps of the cary and charlotte course.

I rode the Charlotte Duathlon course yesterday and it has lots of rollers. It was also very windy.

It should be a challenging course for all. We are excited about having an event in Charlotte and to showcase the White Water Center too.

See you in a few weeks!

I participated in the Wilmington Duathlon & thought everything was put together nicely. The transition area was good, received a nice training shirt & the course was flat. The only downer was the WEATHER! Raining & 44 degrees! At least it wasn't snowing, like it was doing when I got home to Charlotte!

The organizers told me that the Wilmington course was the easiest. Short/flat course. W-S is supposed to be slightly hilly & marginally longer. Charlotte is the first long course with rolling hills & Cary is long with significant hills.

I raced the Winston-Salem duathlon today and enjoyed the whole experience.
Well organized,started on time,nice technical t-shirt,food,etc.
Great value for the money.
I would recommend everybody to try their events.

I rode the Charlotte Duathlon course yesterday and it has lots of rollers. It was also very windy.

Now, why would the organizers create a course that was windy ?
