Awesome run tonight. Easy pace uphill to the observatory with amazing night views of the LA skyline. Took a few minutes at the top to admire the view and be thankful for my life, health, family, and job. Run downhill was a poundfest on the legs but it felt good to run the faster pace. Had a moment of concern at the bottom with right arch of foot, seems like it got weak but then felt fine after a few steps. Reminded me of 2000 when my arches fell...painful!! Also some small flare ups on right ITB.

great run. Felt good so I took the pace up a bit and almost PR'd my 10K. Looking fwd to this Saturday when I can let it go...will aim for 8-8:20mmp

first 12 miles were great...then I started feeling tightness in the legs and lower back, eventually slowed way down but I felt like first 12 were solid. Still a breakthrough workout, with 2 more 20's to go before the marathon I am feeling good.

Recovery was rough, got home and felt hypothermic. Took down dr pepper and some whey then felt better. hot shower cured me.

Last .25 I didn't realize the timer was still going. that was me walking into the house. i adjusted total time and dist to reflect
