4.5 mile run this evening. Not sure I am emotionally ready for it.

Hand appt with Neuro this morning for EMG & NCS. Told me the numbness in my right hand is most likely permanent (I was advised that from the beginning but it sucks to know for sure). Pain and numbness that comes in goes is most likely not coming from elbow but more from a possible entrapment in wrist. So MRI is scheduled next - they are thinking this due to the pain/numbness went away with surgery and is now back. Medial nerve is better this year after carpal tunnel surgery almost 2 years ago. Tested L hand and elbow. Passed all but 1 test. No problem there except for very few bouts of numbness.

So not what i was wanting to hear. I wanted something that we can fix. I bowled in AK and my fingers that are numb swelled so bad they hurt for a few days. Now I am dealing with pain this afternoon from the tests they did this morning. And for what? Sad.

6.5 done outside. Nutrition (water/chomps) at 3 and at 5.1. Knees/hips complained loudly during the last 1.4. Will take a bit of a break and try to finish the last 1.5 on the TM. 30+ degree change is a kick in the pants.

8 miles on tap today. Long day yesterday - tummy revolted twice before getting on the plane early early yesterday but behaved the 12 hours to get home. Usually sleep on these flights - couldn't sleep on the first kept waking up. 2 hours from SLC to OKC I had a row to myself so I laid down to sleep and was restless. Couldn't sleep. :( Grabbed a quick bite after the airport - didn't stay in. Went to dinner with friends - soup/salad - ate the small side salad. Not hungry for the soup - brought it home. Rested an hour before dinner. In bed at 11 - dogs woke me at 1am and then Bo kicked me at 3am. Slept on the couch until 6.

Walking - body not happy yet.

This week continues to get worse and worse. Body now doesn't want to keep any food in it. I am not sleeping. 2 hours each of the past two nights. And a lovely rash/blisters... Nice.

4.5 mile run attempt tonight. No promises.

Will try to do something tonight. Didn't get a run in last night. Laid down and fell asleep when I got back to the hotel. Awake at 8pm until 4am and then sleep until 7am. :(
