started a long ride this morning with rob and called it quits shortly after the rain started. we were wet and freezy so we tucked our tails between or legs and turned around.

got some hard workouts in this week but not near the volume i would have liked. 3 weeks until lonestar half and 2 of those weeks i will be out of town for work so i need to make sure i get the morning workouts in.

afternoon tempo run - pace felt good from start to finish
took carson to the rodeo today for her birthday. had fun and got kicked in the balls by a sheep in the petting zoo. it kicked me so hard i almost puked.
college basketball is killing me. i was up past midnight the last 2 nights watching games. lastnight i watched uconn and syracuse play 6OTs for a total of 4hrs. it was worth it put meanwhile the swimming is suffering.
lunch run on the tready: progressive run (increase pace every 5min by 30sec starting at 8:30 and ending at 6min pace and then 10min cooldown at 7-8min pace)
