90 minute out and back starting from Wakefield. The weather was so agreeable this weekend, I just couldn't bear to be on the treadmill. I get that being on the treadmill lets me run the whole time, no matter the pace, but there will be plenty of time for that come winter. As it was I ran to the top of Z2, walked it back down, and repeated a bazillion times. I drank an entire handheld bottle, which I usually have trouble doing!

Hains Point loops. I stopped every 5ish miles to take in a nibble of Clif Whole Lotta bar and a couple Skratch chews. The Whole Lotta bar was tasty but way too dry. Tailbone pain (wider saddle has been ordered) and a numb right hand means a trip back to the fitter is in order. But! This was fun, and time zipped by.

Have plans with Liz to ride at Hains Point tomorrow. I know its super popular, but I've actually never ridden there. I understand it to be a flat 3 mile loop, complete with lots of headwinds...perfect for Miami. It won't be as idyllic as the Eastern Shore, where there is a huge shoulder, hardly any traffic, and you can ride for 15 miles without so much as a stop sign. But...its a whole lot closer!
My only concern is that it will be really tempting to cut the ride short since the loops are only 3 miles. 10 loops?!

So many vendor meetings this week. We're competing our contract for end user device leasing, and these meetings are just blurring into each other. I get it, you can all do exactly what I need you to do for an unbeatable price. I'm getting eye strain from how hard I'm rolling them.

Power went out at 11pm, didn't come back on until 4:45. Needless to say, didn't get a lot of sleep without the dehumidifier or air conditioning. Skipping my swim today to come home and get a trainer ride in. Here's hoping the power stays on! Dominion power is doing underground line work, and "apologize for the intermittent outages." Grrrrr
