Why is it when you get to a few days before your big race your mind/body starts to freak out? I went for a walk this morning and was convinced that my feet/ankles/hips were ruined. Of course, they're not. All is well. Get with the program, brain....I'm good to go!

Last run before race day. Ran the whole thing and felt pretty darn good.

I am having another "I hate my job" day, but other than that, I feel pretty good. Quite good, actually! Am I heading into this race a tad undertrained? Yes, but better under than over, right? I'm excited to see what I can do with this distance, and really interested to see what kind of speed I get. I always seem to find a little unknown speed on race day, and I'm curious if that will happen this weekend.

One day at a time. Doctor's appointment is next week, and hopefully just the appointment itself will give me some hope to hang onto while meds start to do their thing. It has been a long couple of weeks waiting.
I should probably start thinking about race day, too! Holy smokes, how is my first Olympic race in FOUR DAYS?!?! Gotta make some goals and start getting excited.

Yesterday was a good brick and a great day. Today is not awesome, but not terrible. One of the hardest parts about depression is the time loss. Seriously, how is it September?! I really don't remember much of August at all.
The weather looks okay for this weekend, and I'm focusing on putting together some goals for the race. Trying to have a good day! :)
