Fully intended to do yoga when I got home. I enjoy Yoga with Adrienne on YouTube. But then there I was, eating sushi in my pj's....no yoga, and nary a stretch in sight.

Spin class. First time getting on anything resembling a bike since Miami. I forgot my HRM strap, so I went with just the optical sensor on my wrist. At points I would look down and the bike would have my heart rate as much as 40 beats higher than my watch. Based on how I was feeling, I trust the bike numbers more.

Really glad I booked this spin date with Jen a few weeks ago, so there's no way I'm backing out at this point. My legs are so sore!
I had my swim bag packed and everything for this morning, but I skipped it. I slept straight to my alarm, hit the snooze, and somehow managed to immediately fall back asleep and start dreaming before it started going off again 5 minutes later. I reset the alarm, and promptly fell straight asleep for another 90 minutes. Obviously much needed, and I have no regrets, since I'll be working out this evening.

Ouch! My legs aren't used to the lunge warmups, so I've been doing the DOMS walk since Tuesday. Once I actually started running my legs loosened up, and this was comfortably difficult.

Three days into my "do something every day" streak. For starters I intend to keep this up until New Year's. The "something" essentially means following the workout plan. There is always something to do, as even rest days include stretching. I felt great from mid-July through August when I was really consistent with my workouts. Then after my injury I had a hard time getting my mojo back once I was cleared to resume workouts. Then it was Nationals. Then I took a couple weeks off.
And now here we are. December 1 - January 1. Let's see how one month of movement in the off season feels.
