ROTB. Longest I've ran since the accident. Hip did start to feel a little off towards the end. Splits:

Computertrainer ride. Hip felt ok, but def had some discomfort.

So I went to see my Ortho day and he had some good news, for now anyway.  Most importantly, I'm cleared to train.  He thinks that my hockey career is catching up to me as well as potentially my genetics.  As a butterfly style goaltender, I did put a lot of stress on my hips.  As a result, the Dr. thinks that I flared up some early arthritis in that hip.  As for the genetics, my Mom had to have her hip replaced a few years back so it could run in the family.  When I told him I was planning to do Lake Placid next year, he was actually more concerned about me being able to do that one than AZ.  So at this point, I'm just happy to be cleared and I'm just supposed to take some Tylenol while training and ice my hip to deal with the pain/achiness.

I am supposed to get an MRI sometime this week, but I am obviously pretty happy with where I stand right now.

Things took a turn for the worse today. I was supposed to do a 4:30 hour ride and I pulled out after about 2:45 cause my hip was bothering me. I decided to go over to the hospital to have it looked at. They didn't give me any details, but they said my left hip (the injured one) looks different than my right. So I'm going to see the Ortho on Monday and prob do an MRI, and go from there. They actually sent me home on crutches. I laughed at them when they gave em to me, but they said I should stay off it till Monday.

Went and got a massage this afternoon.  I had a huge knot in my left quad right around where it was aching so I think this could have been very helpful.

Steady effort ride on the computrainer. Did a little over 1.5 loops of the AZ course. The hip was sore and achy during the ride, but I just battled through it. Watched a movie and 3 episodes of Weeds. My girlfriend likes that show so I figured I'd try to get into it.

    My hip didn't ache much at all last night so that is a great sign!  Its definitely not back to 100%, but it definitely feels like its getting better, which is great.
