Early morning walk with Em. I should have worn the other running jacket today. It was 36 but felt colder than I expected with the wind.

Hmm.  I just got a call that my orthotics are in.  Last I heard, Brandon at Impact Orthopaedics was going to do some research and whatnot.  I didn't even know that they were redoing them (again).  Gonna pick them up at lunch today.

When I picked them up, I talked to Brandon for a few minutes.  He said that he consulted with Blaise?  Dunno.  Anyway, the lab folks said that they would remake them.  He said that if I have any other problems, he would have them remade again and then he said something like, "I don't know what else I can do."  That doesn't sound good.  Anyway, I am to break them in slowly -- 1 hour tomorrow, 2 hours on Wednesday and so on.  I don't think that I'll run on them until next Tuesday or Wednesday.

If they don't work this time, I think that I'll may seek orthotic advice elsewhere.  I mean, if remaking them over and over is the only thing that can be done through Brandon at this point...  The thing is, insurance paid for them and I don't think that I can have them redone and covered if I do that before September. 


I just received an email that Lake Manatee is at 78 degrees now.  I was assured that it would be wetsuit legal and I race there in less than three weeks. I vote for a Florida cold snap!

I got up to walk Em this morning but it was 34 and raining.  We went back to bed.

2pm:  The hourly forecast is calling for 80% chance of rain during most of the day tomorrow.  It may be a trainer kinda Saturday.

5am: So demanding.  Not only do I want them to post a time.  I want them to post my correct time. Precision Racing indeed...

9:30am: Precision Racing acknowledged the problem and provided times (chip and gun) that make sense with my photos and my Garmin.  I am a happy camper now!
