Zwift - Innsbruck Lutscher CCW (I only did it for the route badge)

A teammate of mine has a son who wanted to Zwift like dad. He found a trainer that take all sizes of bikes, including kids bikes and he signed up his son for a child account (free until kids turn 16). His son discovered the "worlds" within Zwift. He said to his father, "It's just one big hill." Yup, that's Innsbruck!

I don't want to be a wimp or a scaredy cat or whatever but this is what I wrote to Coach P today regarding my season roadmap.  Of course I would like to talk to Ann-Marie and Melanie before making any decisions about May:

Howdy!

I'm worn out from the constant reshuffling of races. Here's the latest:
  • February 7 - NOS Season Finale
  • May 23 - IM 70.5 Chattanooga 2021 edition (deferred from 2020) - I will make the call on this in late February/early March.
  • June 13 - Loudoun 1725 Gravel Grinder
  • August 22 - Raven Rock Ramble bike ride (deferred from May 2020 to May 2021 to Aug 2021)
  • September 18 - Assault on the Carolinas 100k ride (deferred from 2020, then April 2021, now Sept 2021)
I am still planning to load up the Bike Century plan.  How would you feel about me doing the Tour of Sufferlandria Feb 14-20?  That's a virtual event that I can get behind.

Would it be OK with you if I finish the OutSeason, and then load the Bike Century Plan and substitute one week with the Tour of Sufferlandria.  Do you have any suggestions on keeping the run going during February?  I feel like I may actually have made some progress on my run (knock wood!) and I would kind of like to keep that going.

Then, I can see how things are playing out with regards to events and discuss the Chattanooga HIM with my family.  At the moment, I feel like smaller events would be OK but larger ones, notsomuch.

Last week, a Raleigh area running series (mostly 5ks and 10ks): “We are writing to let you know that we do not feel that it is practical to plan for a 2021 race series with the uncertainty the virus brings. Keep on running and we hope to see you in 2022! “

Today, my May 2nd cycling event, Raven Rock Ramble, was rescheduled to August 22.

My mom texted me this morning -- she and my dad both have vaccine appointments on January 22nd at Duke Raleigh.  They are pretty excited!
