Finally got around to building my wheel cover during my day off from work today. Trainer to test it out and to make any adjustments. Just had to re-position my speed sensor. Initially I thought I'd go for an hour but I'm still feeling some lingering exhaustion in my legs. Being on my feet all day doing various household projects might have contributed.

I needed to rest my legs after the indication I got from yesterday's run and with an upcoming race. So I headed to the pool. I felt great in the water though my energy was a little low. Dinner leftovers weren't doing it for me tonight so I skimped on the pre-workout fuel, hence the low energy.

I tried my best to keep my heart rate down and to not push too much on this run. Very cool outside for mid-May. I kinda would like it to be hotter so that I could get some heat adaptation in. Legs felt really beast up after four miles. Perhaps I'm still suffering the remnants of Saturdays ride (or even last week's HM)?

Forgot my Garmin at work today when I brought it in to upload my data, so I had to ride all on feel tonight. Despite it being cool outside (it feels like mid-April not mid-May lately) it was pretty stuffy and hot in the basement tonight. Godd for when it actually does get hot outside again.
