Treadmill since Richmond is a giant puddle at the moment. Hoping this dries up by Saturday. 2 easy miles were the bookends to one tempo mile. Tomorrow is all easy.

Travel day to Richmond, VA. No workout.

You win some, you lose some, you OWN some!! Today, I did not go running. I went floating! I cannot even begin to describe this run to you.

I started off easy with 2 miles at 7:20 each. I then did the two tempo sets (6:46 each) a little faster than normal just because I could tell I was feeling pretty good. The goal was just to then run the remainder of the 1:15:00 easy. So I did. It just so happened that easy today was 3 miles at 7:10, 1 @ 7:01, 1 @ 6:42, and then a kick to the finish.

Was it too hard of a run? Maybe not because it did not feel hard at all to my body. I really felt like I was floating. This was the best runner's high I have ever felt. I think my fitness REALLY showed today. If I feel this good on Saturday, the sky is the limit. This was the BIGGEST mental boost of my entire training, and it could not have come at a better time.

Lookout Richmond! One Mike Plumb trained Caleb Keiter is coming your way!!
