Update: 2PM - calf really hurts, affecting how I walk.  So I will lay off running again til the race on the 12th.  At least I know if rested, I can run!

You never know what you are gonna see out there!   There were 2 of them and they had been digging probably all night.   I hate to tell them though that they dug their hole right next to the trail.  Probably not the safest if they are depositing eggs.

made it all the way across Walden Pond today.   Swam across thru the middle and took the shoreline back.  Stuck the Garmin in the cap so I could get an accurate reading. 

Next up - Tri bike shopping!!!!!!!!!  Bought a Quintanaroo Dulce!!!!! Had to leave it at the shop.  Getting fitted tomorrow night.  Of course I needed new shoes to go with the new bike, new pedals and of course a video of the Bike across America!  Woo Hoo!!!! Bike porn to follow tomorrow or wednesday.

1st time swimming across Walden Pond.  I always thought it was a mile across but turns out its a half mile.   Either way...the bathhouse kept getting smaller and smaller.  I didn't swim the whole distance and while the time is right above, the distance is approx.  I turned because I had to get back for an appointment.  But now that I have swam across, I can't swim any less.  Its the new standard.

Went to lift this morning and all I wanted to do was stretch!

I am so sore from yesterdays battle on the massage table. Stretching felt good.   Then i got in the pool and my legs ached, my shoulders ached and I could only stand 15 minutes.      But at least I got in there!

90 minutes of pure torture!

I have a massage appointment for later today...gets me outta work early!  This guy is not squeemish about going after what ails ya.   Michael goes to him and says while you are on the ask yourself "why did I tell him THAT hurts"   He goes after it with a vengence.  But Michael says when he's no longer have that particular pain.  I am expecting big things for these stupid leg cramps!!!!!!

One word to describe my "massage".......Ouch!   OMG when did I get to be soooooo tight?    I was in tears pretty much for the entire 90 minutes but when the muscle/ligament released........whew!
