Damn that  bike is fast!  I was able to hold 18/19mph without even breaking a sweat!   Not used to being in the aero position.   Found new muscles on me to hurt today.    Came out of aero quite a bit to brake.  This will take some getting used to.   Pictures will come tonight.  I'm bringing the bike into the livingroom (now that I have rolled thru duck poop!) to outfit it with my lights, water bottle cages, etc......

Finishing off my travel plans today.   Making the Escape the Cape race fun for the hubby and will be staying in plymouth for 4 days.  We are looking at whale watching, helicopter rides, water park......And since we don't have anyone to care for our kitties...they are coming with us since the hotel is pet friendly! - Nope!  for an extra $400, the kitties can stay home!  Yikes!

calf feeling a little tight.  Stretching and icing it down before breakfast.   Run felt great. 
Update: 2PM - calf really hurts, affecting how I walk.  So I will lay off running again til the race on the 12th.  At least I know if rested, I can run!

You never know what you are gonna see out there!   There were 2 of them and they had been digging probably all night.   I hate to tell them though that they dug their hole right next to the trail.  Probably not the safest if they are depositing eggs.

made it all the way across Walden Pond today.   Swam across thru the middle and took the shoreline back.  Stuck the Garmin in the cap so I could get an accurate reading. 

Next up - Tri bike shopping!!!!!!!!!  Bought a Quintanaroo Dulce!!!!! Had to leave it at the shop.  Getting fitted tomorrow night.  Of course I needed new shoes to go with the new bike, new pedals and of course a video of the Bike across America!  Woo Hoo!!!! Bike porn to follow tomorrow or wednesday.

1st time swimming across Walden Pond.  I always thought it was a mile across but turns out its a half mile.   Either way...the bathhouse kept getting smaller and smaller.  I didn't swim the whole distance and while the time is right above, the distance is approx.  I turned because I had to get back for an appointment.  But now that I have swam across, I can't swim any less.  Its the new standard.

I cleared my schedule for training with the tri team tomorrow morning.  Got a TT style bike and 1 mile swim.......
