Since I have to ride 17 miles in a tri in two weeks, I figured I best go and do that and make sure I actually can. So I did.

This would be barely a warm up for many around here, but it's the longest and fastest ride I've had all summer so far, so I'm pretty happy with it.

When I finished my 17 miles, I was still about 3 miles from home so I restarted the computer. This was entirely uphill, hence the awesome pace.

Ran in St Paul after work. Forgot the Garmin at home so no idea on distance or pace.

I'm logging this because it was almost entirely uphill, and included about 10 flights of stairs.

Registered for another tri today. That will make two sprints and a relay this summer. That's more than I've done in several years now. :-P

Time to get back in the saddle, literally. I have to ride 17 miles at a tri in two weeks. I have yet to ride more than 11 at a time this summer. Yikes.

Thurs, Fri, Sat, and Sun were spent on a pool deck. Or sleeping. Or driving. That's about it. There was no working out. I could log about 50 hours (honestly) of race officiating, but I won't.

State swim finals. I was one of the assigned starters, so I was on the hook for every. single. session. Gah.

Swim Kid did very well and set personal bests in all but one of her events. She is very ready for the season to be over, and so am I. :-P
