Holy Smokes.... What a great race! Iwanted to beat 1:33 and in my head I thought I would be really happy with anything close to 1:20. BAM 1:16..... I killed it.... See my race report....

Yesterday was rest day, today is a short 15 min run with some burst sprints in there and then that is it.

 

Tomorrow is RACE DAY

Super duper easy workout today... I am glad, I feel like I have put in some strong workouts this week and I am so ready for race weekend.
I think I am going today to buy these HED aero bars that have been calling my name for sometime.

I am enjoying this training... It is awesome to train this much... Dont know if I could keep it up for ever but right now I am enjoying this.
Bike/run brick tonight...

Picked up Zipp wheels again after having the valve extenders replaced, now I can close the valve from the outside... I also picked up this years HEAT (tri club) uniform... I will be styling for the race this weekend, and no purple... lol

DAMN, DAMN people what a hard ass workout.... I did hill work today. Road 6 miles out then up this big hill 5 times, then 6 miles back to the house; hill splits are:
1. .28mi 2:14 180HR 64ft elev
2. .28mi 2:21 181HR 
3. .28mi 2:31 181HR
4. .28mi 2:30 185HR
5. .28mi 2:25 183HR
Finished this killer workout with a 2 mile brick at a good pace... My quads are going to be screaming tomorrow... Good thing it is super easy day before my weekend race.

Indoor pool was closed so I got to swim outside today, it was really cool. I like swimming outside, it is really nice. The pool seemed short so I swam for time instead of focusing distance. Worked a lot on my stroke.

Great workout, I am supposed to take it easy this week but I really felt like a slacker last week with Parker so I am going to step it up just a tad.

Great ride, run brick. Felt great during the ride, I love riding in the eveing right before the sun goes down. Pure magic...
Did a good run after, tried to similate a little race pace work and just enjoyed the run. I am so ready for race day on saturday!!!!

Easy fathers day ride, 45 min out easy then hit lap and tried to better my time back 45 min. Ride out was easy to the KY state line, ride back was straight into head winds the whole way.
13.06 mi on the way out
12.42 mi on way back in.
