Long Stead Distance today.  Brand new running shoes, didn't have a problem with them.  Heart rate was a little higher than normal at the start, first miles are about 10-15 seconds slower than normal.  It was hot and dry on the track today as well, was stopping every two miles to get a drink of water which slowed down some of the miles by about 10 seconds.

Went to get my new running shoes today.  Had an excellent fitting and such.  They felt good at the store and the little jog I went on.  Oh, I also bought a nice jacket to wear when it's cold out.  But honey, it was on sale!!!  And no sales tax this week!!!!  If I don't have a log tomorrow that's because the wife killed me when she got home and found out how much money I spent today.
