Did not use HR monitor, nor did I use the phone. The only thing I had with me was my watch.
It was so nice to get in 500M sets this morning. I fought off the urges for something sweet last night. I hope to stay strong in that regard, as that will be a huge benefit to trying to cut weight. I have my first 5K race tonight, it is not my sort of race, as I am far from a speedster, but it was super cheap to register, and I want more race experience, even if it is not a tri.
This was my first run on the roads in over a month! It felt so great to get back outside again. It was easier than I thought it was going to be. I am so glad to be back. I also have a swim session today at lunch. That will be my first swim in well over a month.
Well, work was so hectic today that I did not get to the gym during lunch, but I was able to make a night swim. I can really tell that I have not swam in several weeks, but I think it will come back quickly. Tomorrow I am going to shoot for 200's on the swim. I only did 100's and 50's tonight.
Yesterday's 60' run on the dreadmill killed me. I will be so glad when I can run outside again. that thing is awful. I feel like I have been hit by a truck. Also, feeling a little sick today.
