Really, Really HOT! It was 95F and 50% humidity during the run. This was an easy Z2 run and I decided to do the outdoors run instead of a 30' Z2 run on the treadmill at the gym. I still had to walk 3 times during this run for short durations just to keep my body temperature down. I wanted to continue to work on my heat acclimation.
Transitioning to the Thrive diet. Went to Earth Fare last night and picked up various legumes, seeds, and nuts along with lots of leafy veggies.
So I had a veggie and fruit smoothie for breakfast/pre-workout and a fruit-protein smoothie immediately post workout. I just had lunch of a single raw veggie burrito with home made hummus and whole wheat tortilla. For some reason, I am really sleepy today. I have had two cups of coffee this morning, but I can still barely keep my eyes open.
