Back from a few days of vacation in Williamsburg.  Two full days at Busch Gardens and some time in the Colonial area. Two days of eating amusement park food and four days of supporting the local industry - Anheuser Busch.  (Also, there's nothing like a couple mint juleps in an old colonial tavern!)No training for 4 days.  I'm not getting on the scale for at least a week - I don't want to know the damage.  Legs were worthless on the bike this morning.

Ran for 20 min through Colonial Williamsburg. Outside of left knee was hurting pretty bad...should have stopped after 10 min. Bothered me all day walking around Busch Gardens

Rode to Rock Hall and back. Time includes loafing through Chestertown and Rock Hall. Stopped at the in-law's for a bathroom break and to refill a water bottle. Felt really strong the whole way there, but as soon I started home I was having a major sugar low from not eating anything in the first 30 miles. Ate 3 clif bloks and a Larabar and started feeling much better. Caught up with another rider and cruised the last 6 miles back to C-town together. (He was from VA beach and had done a 1300 mile bike ride along the MO river a few years ago) Felt great until I crossed the bridge on the way home and the last 15 miles were into a headwind. Ouch.
