The plan was for a 10 mile z2 aerobic run. I felt AWESOME!!! Honestly and objectively, I think I could have run 17 or 18 today without much thought. I decided to tack on a mile at the end and ran the 11th mile really hard.
Some weird reading on my Garmin HRM... my heart rate was recorded at 165-177 a couple of times for a few seconds and then slowly went down. Therefore my overall av hr is slightly skewed. I know for a fact that my hr never went above 148 and stayed right around 142-143 the entire run which is what the goal was. I'm not gonna lie though and say it wasn't tough or frustrating haveing to slow down at mile 6 to an 11+/mile pace just to keep the hr at 141ish.
