This past 48 hours has been all about confidence builders.
Yesterday, I rode 100 miles (albeit with 46 miles on the trainer) and about 20 of those miles were in the rain.
This evening, I decided to swim 3500 straight and I felt so good after the first 3500 that I decided to swim some more and ended up with 4100 total. This was a straight swim, no breaks, just head down and monotonous.
Usually, I turn my alarm off on Thursday evenings and make Friday an off day.. allowing myself to sleep in until 5:20. But last night, I forgot and the alarm went off at 3:30. I decided I might as well get up and do my long run today and sleep in tomorrow. I didn't realize that the plan called for a 2 hour long run this week. I don't think it's a big deal though.
