Really, really easy this morning. Kept it in z1 for the majority of the run.
I'm feeling pretty beat up and sore still from this weekend's events. 11.5 hours of training in the week with 6 hours on the weekend took a lot out of me. The truth is that I really wanted to test my fitness to this point... and I think I passed. I also think that a lighter week either volume or intensity wise may be appropriate at this point. So, I lessened the intensity this morning and after the first 2 miles, I actually felt pretty good.
The fact is that this is going to be a very busy week and I'm not sure how many swims I'm gonna get in so I had to htfu and get this in.
Feeling surprisingly refreshed this morning. After a monster week of training for 11.5 hours (my highest weekly volume to date), I thought I would feel shot this morning. I'm ok though. I'm going to try to do one of these monster kind of weekends every other week, as I think it's good for my confidence.
Rant: more fucking wind. I can't take this anymore. These environmentalist fucking assholes have no clue what they're talking about. Global warming my ass!!! It's the last fucking day of April and it was freezing on the bike this morning. And of course there was the ever present unrelenting wind. I decided to not even try to fight it this time Also got a flat at mile 15. Just another reason to ride inside. I'm gonna start saving for a computrainer.
