I'm spent. I'm tired and sick. The truth is, I've been trainng hard without little-no rest for the last several weeks. I have a bad cold, no doubt due to fatigue and some difficult nights of sleep. I was asleep by 9 last night and still woke up feeling crappy. I'm going to skip tonight's swim, rest and take the day off tomorrow. This weekend I will do a combined 3 hours of running and biking... maybe 1.5 hours each. Here is the plan for the remainder of the time until my HIM:
Taking today off. First day off in nearly two weeks... and I have put together some very high volume weeks recently. I need this. I'm sore and tired and fatigued. Brick tomorrow morning and swim tomorrow afternoon.
I got the idea for this workout as I was getting ready for bed last night. I drove .5 miles so I could run .5 miles to where the hilly roads are. Ran 3 miles of hills and then 2 miles on energy sapping grass all while trying to maintain a 9:30-9:40 pace. ran.5 miles back to my car.
