Went for a great long hike with Miki and Mike Harris this morning. Was a good challenge and got my HR up a bit. Also did a good amount of distance and time. My Garmin stopped somewhere on H3 so there is a segment that isn't mapped. Don't know what happened there. H2 is where I should train to get my HR up.
Had a great hike w/ Miki at Thunderbird park today. I'm so glad we went cause it's a great place to hike and it's right up the road. Will be back over and over.
Also had a great swim. Did two 1000 yd swims and didn't feel tired on either set. I felt comfortable with the pace and glide. Could have done another 2000 yds.
Tried to ride today but I don't think my lungs are ready for 150+ HR yet. Still feel like I have a good amount of fluid in my lungs. Was disappointed in my ability today.
Went back out this afternoon and felt pretty good. Had a bit of wind to deal with but I rode in the aero position and that helped a lot. Need to get my distance up to at least 24 miles within the next week.
