Travel back. This took all day.
Arrived home to find Kevin had pissed all over the ENTIRE HOUSE including the bed, the curtains, the carpet, my closet, multiple blankets, LITERALLY EVERYTHING. This, because Freddie was able to jump the DOUBLE BABY GATE BARRIER (at least 7 feet, no kidding) and got out at least once while we were gone. If I hadn't witnessed it myself I wouldn't have believed it. (He treated us to a performance within 15 minutes of getting home.) The cat sitter called me and let me know there had been a fight...and that she was going to keep Freddie behind closed doors the rest of the time we were gone. The moment we let him out, he leapt 7 feet in the air, balanced on top of a baby gate, and jumped down on the other side. If the whole house hadn't been soaked in urine, I would have been impressed.
Kevin has a scar on his ear, and across his face. Molly has a scar on her ear too. I have no idea how this all went down, but I think it was a terrible experience all the way around. For everyone including us. Every time we sit down we have to make sure we're not sitting on a fresh puddle of pee. The washing machine is working overtime, and I'm going to buy stock in Nature's Miracle, which doesn't seem to be working as it's designed.
Monday: rest.
Tuesday: OTF (run if I can) 5:45 PM
Wednesday: Fly to California
Thursday: Yosemite; wine dinner with Corison winery
Friday: Yosemite; hiking/wandering eating
Saturday: AM Yosemite, PM back to San Francisco
Sunday: Spend morning in San Francisco; fly home. WASH ALL THE THINGS.
Around Mariposa Grove.
Straight up, then straight down. OMG. Up to Vernal Falls, then to the top of Nevada Falls. Then down the Muir trail, which was literally down hill every single step. My quads, knees, calves and general body have never felt more beat to hell. 8 miles.
Up to Glacier Point and Taft point. 2.81 miles.
Glacier Point ^^ So many steep cliffs and ledges. OMG. Not for the faint of heart. My risk averse nature almost prevented me from getting some pretty good photos. ALMOST.
My attempt at a jumpsuit. ^^^

Flight was slightly delayed, we landed late in San Fran, picked up our car and drove to Yosemite. FOUR HOURS. I had no idea it was that far! We missed the first wine talk with Cathy Corison. We did get an In and Out burger, though, and that was good.

Went after work, with Chris. I have no independent recollection of this workout, I only know that my hips and legs and general body were ALREADY SORE when we landed in California. So.

Hey! Guess what? Kevin peed on all of the drapes! Yay! Guess who has 2 thumbs and gets to wash drapes in Nature's Miracle?
Me. Me. That's who.
