7:52 PM: We have reached a consensus on girls trip #1. We're going to Cabo in OCTOBER. OCTOBER! This seems like forever away.

Cody's class. He never lets me walk my fucking base pace, even though it's 4.1 on the treadmill, which is definitely a walking speed. This was an ESP day, so we got a little bit of everything. I am going to be sore tomorrow.

Bailed on OTF in Wheaton. It was supposed to snow here and, in true Midwestern fashion, no one could accurately predict when or in what volume. Instead of attempting to drive out to Wheaton to ride the bike @ Dara's studio, I decided I'd lounge around in my PJ's all day and list a couple of items on eBay. So, that's what I did. I have been hitting my knee with a bunch of Meloxicam and the irritation seems to be coming down. Good news.

I got to drive this car while my car was being serviced...

Super cute, super fast, SUPER COMPLICATED. OMG I couldn't figure out how to turn on the radio. I drove in silence. It was also waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too fast for someone with the need for speed. I need the slowest engine produced with a governor installed. My 6 cylinder engine is generally a mistake. I go way too fast. Once I drove a 3 cylinder Geo Metro as a rental car, and that's the kind of engine ole leadfoot here needs to rock. No turbo-charged 6-8 cylinder engine. That's gonna get me my license suspended.


My outfit was cuter than it appears here. I look like a box without any discernible boobs.

Didn't do the trainer ride. My knee is bothering me and I think the past couple of weeks of workouts have finally caught up to me. Trying to add in trainer rides is going to require me to step something back. I think I will have to reduce OTF to 3x a week? We'll see. This week appears to have disintegrated.

I am trying to coordinate 2 separate girls trips with 2 separate groups of girls. This is a task of gargantuan proportions. So many text messages flying hither and tither. So many requests, parameters and requirements. So much bullshit. I may just ditch it all and go someplace with Chris.

BT is super super glitchy with my work computer, which is super super old and awful.


2:31 PM: BUSY day at work today. The cats are all free form and upstairs and it is oddly silent. I hope this just means they're getting along, not that 2 have killed each other and the third took a nap afterwards. Will go investigate.

Whew! That was fun! Solid Power Day and 12 All Out efforts on the treadmill! Yay! Felt great! Hit 7.3 for my last 30 sec all out, which is near warp speed for me.
