Strength day. I really enjoyed this and had a higher than average calorie burn for the class. I don't know why.


Slept like the dead. Again. Went to bed at 10 PM and Chris woke me up at 8:20 AM this morning, because he was concerned I'd sleep through a conference.  (I have no calls scheduled today... it's a major catch up day) Anyway, that's 10 hours and 20 min, bitches. Lovely. And one of the huge perks of working from home. 


Bonus Work Outfit from last Thursday:

We unintentionally matched... What you can't see are my cute cute Stuart Weitzman boots... will try to find a link. That dress is 8 years old, maybe older. I wore it to the first of the State Farm retirement parties in 2012. How is it I know my wardrobe choices from 8+ years ago off hand but I can't tell you where my house keys are right now...?


Mine do not go over the knee... they come TO the knee. These appear to go "over" the knee.

We had a bottle of wine and a nice dinner last night. Canceled OTF.  I fell into a coma on the couch after a super stressful couple of weeks. It's a recovery week. It's OK to back off.

Moved tomorrow's OTF to after work instead of before.

On the Peloton bike. I didn't have a reservation so I got kicked off about 20 minutes in. I went over and finished my ride on another bike.


Well I did it! I am proud of myself. We'll see if anything comes to fruition. If not, it's time to dust off the old resume and start again elsewhere. I asked for what I wanted. It's up to them to determine if it's worthwhile to make it happen. My VP appeared to be quite receptive.

It's hard to ask for what you want. I don't know why it is so difficult.



We went to an Orangetheory Happy Hour. You can't see my cute shoes, but you can sorta see the top of my bra. WTF.

Another 90 minute class. Not so hard to put these back to back, especially when I'm riding the bike... The big spikes are from rowing. Rowed 500, 450, 400, 350, 300, 250, 200, 150, 100

I need to have some difficult discussions with my managers and above. This is no way to live. Maybe I need to switch units or... something.
