Drills, swim, then 1x500. easy peezy. Nice and warmed up by the end,a nd felt good. I still think the swim at AZ is going to be a shit storm for me tho. But not as bad as I think the end of the marathon will be :O

It's very cold in DC today, and the warm water at the pool made me kind of dread the cold water that is coming for me in AZ. We do this for fun tho, right? RIGHT? Well, I think at this point, why anyone does an IM goes a little bit beyond "fun".

I've been a mental disaster all week. Lots of stuff going on in my noggin, which I sure will give me plenty of mental fodder for the 16 (+?) hours of alone time I've got coming up on Sunday. I really appreciate all your good wishes, but frankly I'm just a little scared so I'm having a hard time getting jazzed up. It's all good though. I really think it will be ok.
