Mid 50's and winds gusting 20-25 mph. Started off directly into the wind and thought I had lost every bit of fitness I ever had. Gosh it was hard. When I finally turned the corner, I realized that I could still ride a bike.

Brick run. 4 minute transition to change shoes, pee and drink. My legs felt so horrible the first mile that I was totally shocked when I clicked off that mile in 9:30 (my usual pace). By mile two, my legs felt much better, but I was feeling very fatigued. It's just early in the season and I need to build up some endurance. That should come in time.

Absolutely perfect morning for a run. We have been having a stretch of superb weather and I am just lovin' it! This morning was temps in the upper 40's and bright sunshine. Everything is so spring green and beautiful. Nice relaxed pace on the run and I feel great!

I've got to work on my inspires this weekend!  The last couple of days have just been so hectic.  Just enough time to update my blog and off I go again.  :)  :)  :)

Up at 4am, a little hunting, a lot of work, then a dinner meeting.  Home after 10pm.  Long day!

7am lap swim. Yes, it's a shocker. I made it to the pool.

500y free (2:13, 2:23, 2:19, 2:23, 2:22 = 11:40) Felt discumbobulated.

500y free (2:18, 2:21, 2:18, 2:19, 2:18 = 11:34) Felt MUCH better this set. Nice and relaxed and smooth.

Tomorrow will most likely be a wash as far as a workout goes (unless I sneak something in at lunch).  So I did two workouts today!  :) 

Continued slugdom.  Thought once again about getting up and going swimming.  BUT it felt so GOOD to sleep in until 6am.  First time in over a week and a half.  Took my running clothes/shoes to try and sneak in a run at lunch.  Got busy and that didn't happen.  Now I'm home and we are on round 3 or 4 of severe thunderstorms rolling through the area.  Will I ever workout again?  LOL!

Hunted the morning.  QUIET morning.  I did have a pair of wood ducks hanging around me for quite awhile.  I still think its funny to see a duck sitting in a tree.

Mowed grass all afternoon.  I mow about 4-5 acres of grass on the farm so mowing is a 4+ hour job.  Once again, I had thought I might make it to swim in the afternoon, but ran out of time.
