Very nice run in my Nike Frees (they collapse the most to fit in my saddle bags). This was a very comfortable run and I felt I could run this forever.

Commute to work today on the fixie with a little run on the way to work. Ride home was longer than usual since they barracaded my path through Spring Creek Nature Trail. Normally, I'd just jump the barracade, but I believe it's way too muddy in the section they pulled up the concrete.

This Garmin upload is way cool, but it's a bit of a pain that I had to upload 5 time from my device to get todays workouts in. Maybe, I'll just put them as separate laps in one workout.

Detoured on the way home to sneak this run in. HR was low again, so I decided to push and see if the HRM was working. I think it was although it was still about 5bpm below where I thought it should be. After the second mile, I decided to make a 5k out of it. I'm very happy with a sub 25' 5k at this point.

Very steamy out. Reminds me of old times in La.

On the rollers after the kids went to bed. Watched Ricky Bobby.

I'm already pushing a bigger gear on the rollers than I ever have. HR was low, but so was effort. I chickened out of going aero a few times. I did manage some 1-arm aero riding, but couldn't manage to bring the other arm to the extension. Perhaps if it were the start of Winter, I would think it would be more worth it.

Absolutely chaotic weekend. I really thought having a Wii would be fun, but it's really just an instigator to get the kids fighting. Well, at this rate, I'll have a Wii in MY room and that can't be bad? Initially had plans to commute to swim/work today, but knew going to bed last night that wasn't happening.

Since I've been riding my bikes again lately, I've noticed that my back is feeling stronger. I actually feel normal at times. I'm also not getting sore after mowing the grass. Last year, I'd get sore/weak every time. Many times, I'd mow the front and back on different days because of this.

Weird run. Effort was considerably higher than HR and the first 1.5 miles felt like I had just smoked a pack of cigs. On paper, it looks like an incredible run (HR never reached top of Z1), but perception was pretty crappy. I'm still shocked at the low HR and maybe battery in chest strap is going out??
