Laziness today, had planned to go for at least a short run but decided against it. Legs feel good and should be ready for tomorrow!I

I heard a quote once that stated a goal that is not written is nothing more than a dream! With that in mind here are the goals for tomorrow! Main goal is to go under 1:45, this puts me at 8m pace which is what I failed to hold at Toledo HM back in April. During that race I felt a tinge in my hamstring that held me up. I feel this is definitely doable!

Now where do I really want to finish?I am going to start the race at a 7:50 pace and try to hold this for as long as I possibly can. This will cause some serious discomfort, but what's the point in racing if you don't find the edge of your capability! If I am capable of holding this pace my finish time will be around 1:42.

Originally planned a short run for today 2-3 miles, but after receiving several calls from work last night and then a busy day I am just exhausted! Decided to hang with the kids and play some x-box! No need to dig a hole this close to Sunday! Will continue with planned taper tomorrow!

Nice and easy today, trying to maintain a little higher milage for this taper week. But I am also keeping the effort easy. Last time going into a HM I ran 8 miles the week before and legs didn't feel good race day. Over the last few weeks I have taken fri and sat off and felt good in the Sunday races. Going to use similar routine but shorten the weekly miles and run around 2 miles on Saturday!
