My last long run is in the books, and it was Amazing. I woke this morning feeling limber and a little energetic so I knew it was going to be a decent run. Started off easy and after 3 miles looked down and realized that I was holding 8:45 pace and I was barely working. At this point even though the pace felt easy I still pulled back some to keep the effort as easy as possible. Managed to hold a 9:05-9:15 pace for miles 4-10. Only struggle during this point was when I about pooped my pants because I thought I was being attacked by 2 very large Doberman's! These dogs were huge and only contained by an underground fence, combine this with the signs posted along the property that said "caution guard dogs on premise"! I really thought I was about to become steak meat! At mile 10 I started to pick up the effort, I wanted to see how we'll the nutrition was working and also get and idea of how my legs were going to feel being pushed when fatigued. Ecstatic about the results, Mile 11: 8:43, Mile 12: 7:51, Mile 13: 7:25! Holy crap how did I do that, wasn't stressed until about the last 1/4 mile and then started to feel some "discomfort". Best part of the entire run, NO PAIN. Time to go into taper mode,
