First Outdoor ride! Gulf Shores, no wind. Out 7.5 Miles and back to Ft. Morgan.

Great first ride outdoors, on my old Trek (at least 14 years old).  Averaged 17 MPH, with an AVG HR of 142!!!

hmmm....looks like I could have push the first couple more than I did.

Might be a good day to bike tomorrow.  Hopefully, not too windy.

 Met all  the March Goals!! Wife is doing much better!  She got all her meds and it's doing the trick.  The weather here today was cloudy and windy.  We are all fine.  Ran on the beach without my shoes and did my own version of a X-fit workout consisting of push-ups, sit-ups and lunges.  Looks like the weather isn't going to cooperate for us for the next couple of days, good time to spend with the kids. Already burnt on my forehead and part of my arms where my Timex GPS system was.  Maybe a bike tomorrow if the wind dies down.   We may go to Pennsicola tomrrow.  We are having a good time!

Here in Gulf Shores, yesterday was beautiful day, today not soo much but it's still nice.  Temp is about 67 degrees.   OK on the way down here, my wife got sick so Peggy and I spent 6 lovely hours at the Southern Hills Hospital in Nashville, TN.  Since we were caravaning with 3 other families the kids got dished off on the other families.  We met back up with the carvan in Birmingham, AL as we had hotel rooms there.  The wife's hands, knees and ankles were swollen.  Had to take blood, urine samples and one the tests came back a little high so the doctor wanted a CAT scan.  Looks like she had a viral infection so she gave her some high strength anti-inflammatories.  She is much better today.  So I have 5 miles or so left on my Run goal for the month of March!  I'll have hit all the March goals once that is complete!
