Garmin didn’t transfer this so entering manually.
Good last long run before the thanksgiving race. 64 degrees and sunny. Left IT band was tight and both quads tight for most of this. Seemed to even out by the end. Felt good to hit double digits.

Also, and this is a serious request, can someone at Ironman Wisconsin next year bring a Bluetooth speaker and blast “Hey look ma I made it” by Panic at the Disco in my last mile? I’ve been playing this song as I turn into my neighborhood on my long runs (so the red carpet in my head!) and it makes me so happy! And then I have a delirious dance party in my kitchen imagining I just crossed the IM finish line. It’s the perfect song.

Definitely hard to get motivated on a dark, cold, rainy night after work. Trying hard to keep swimming through the winter so proud I drove myself to the gym and got this done.

43 degrees, bundled up in fleece leggings, fleece running sweatshirt, fleece headband and gloves. Very comfortable. A guy passed me on the Riverwalk wearing shorts, but then I didn't feel like such a wuss when I saw he had on a winter hat. You know when the runner guys put on a warm hat that it's actually cold.

Got a notice through my tri club that Tri Bike Transport runs an early bird special for 2020 races - $40 off if you reserve transport by midnight tonight. I was pretty sure I was going to do this, because I'm not interested in flying with my bike ever again, so went ahead and reserved it for Wisconsin. It's pretty sweet that one of the two drop offs in Atlanta is the All3Sports shop literally a mile from my house!

If anyone else  needs the discount, the code is EARLYBIRD20

ROBUST lunch run on the treadmill. Felt great!

So cold outside! Ellie Mae walks are hit and miss.

Getting more acclimated to my new role at work - my new boss is lovely. Very hands-off yet supportive - it's a nice change. In a fun twist that was a domino effect from me taking this new role, my workBFF Christina got a promotion this week, and we're now on the same team again!

I feel kind of sad for our old boss Laura, whose ENTIRE TEAM has turned over in the last 8 months. All four employees who reported to her have voluntarily left her team, and one of her head count got taken away after the infamous storming-out situation. If I were her, I'd feel like pretty lousy leader. I'll just leave it at that

Treadmill after work. Had a meeting start at 12:30 so wasn't able to do this over lunch.

I put this off until after 2 pm, and it ended up being an amazing run. Legs felt peppy the whole time. Could have run much farther. Glad I changed up my route, even though this one had more elevation. Gorgeous fall day that made me remember why I love to run.
