Struggling emotionally today. Pretty sure the depression phase is setting in now. Still haven't cried but now I just feel down and unmotivated. Ironically, I had a really kickass workout today. Hmmm.

Core training...yeah, ummm...riding Gwazi is core training...holy hell. Trying to keep yourself in one place on that ride while it's rattling around is DEFINITELY requisite of a strong core.

2140 - Had a really nice afternoon with Bri, Pete, and Pete's mom and stepdad.  Bri, Pete, and I went for some beers and bad (yummy) food, and then we went back to the house to hang out and watch the Kentucky Derby.  Then we just chatted and did what friends do.  It was a nice relaxing day.  Now Bri and I are home and we are watching THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL.  Hope it's good!!

1015 - Didn't go to NJ last night.  My flight was delayed over 5 hours and I wouldn't have gotten in til almost 2am.  I could NOT make my mom drive an hour and a half out there and then pick me up only to get home at 330 in the morning.  She's in the wedding today and there's no way she'd be able to get enough rest.  So I said EFF IT.  Besides...with a bunch of new cases of swine flu in NJ and a couple in FL now, I'd rather stay off a plane anyway.  Oh well...weekend off to get caught up on chores, bills, and maybe some Busch Gardens?!?!  Hmmm....

CrossFit WOD: Tabata Something Else
I only did 3 of the 4 sets because I'd already done one set of Tabatas (running) with Marianne. So I did the pullups, pushups, and situps.

1945 - Here I am at Tampa Airport waiting on my flight that was supposed to leave two hours ago and still has two hours to go before leaving.  IF IT LEAVES.  The plane won't even be here til 9. 

Where am I going?  To swine flu heaven it seems.  My cousin is getting married tomorrow and I am going to see this event happen.  I won't go into detail (who knows who sees what on the internet these days) but suffice it to say, I'm going because I really need my family this weekend.  I lost my soul sister this week.  I need my mom and my brother to hug me.
