A nice brisk ride to Chico with my wife - and we stopped for breakfast once we got there. The nine mile per hour pace didn't really get the heartrate up too high, but it was fun - and nice to get her out on her bike. I even have her talking about doing a 60 mile organized ride through the Sutter Buttes in February.
Long run - was supposed to be upwards of 20 miles, but lots of body parts started complaining, so I cut the end a little short. Pace was slower than I expected, just one of those days where I couldn't quite get my running groove going...
Easy evening run in the mist/rain. Wore my new Under Armor shirt for the first time - Wow, what a heat sink!!! It was only 50 degrees, with a 15-20 mph wind, but I was burning up pretty much the whole run.
Note to self - only wear that top when temp's are down around the 40's....
Run was OK - hard to get motivated, just put one foot in front of the other until the 5 miles was done.
