What a day!!!  I cut 4 minutes, 6 seconds off my previous best time on this course to a new PR of 1 hr 48 minutes and 34 seconds!!!!!

Short treadmill run, trying to establish my pace for Saturday. Going to shoot for 8'20" miles, we'll see how that works out.

Working out just isn't "working out" this week, so I guess I'll call it a taper week for my race this weekend.  Woke up at 2:00 AM, couldn't get back to sleep, then sleep past my alarm time so I missed my morning workout slot.  Power was out when I got home, so I couldn't just drop everything and go running - so I had two beers instead...

Nice quick run this evening after work.  Focused on quick turnover, and staying "light on my feet".  Wind was blowing about 15 mph, which was a little bit of a drag.

"Emergency" rest day today - I was so tired, I couldn't or wouldn't get off the couch all day.  Don't know what it was, but I never got out of my pajamas all day!!!  Watched a Steven King movie, and lots of other mind-numbing television.
