From the 'when you least expect it' dept..I ran sub-1:35 today, which is a PR by about 2.5mins. Talk about a beautiful day for racing..I'll wait for the official results before I say any more about the day's race. Actual race time was 1:34:54

spin bike - ez

I'll have 19 people at my house tomorrow. No we don't have silver or crystal for that many people and yes the kids will fight for elbow room at a card table. Increasingly, I recognize the importance of giving thanks for all the blessings in my life, and while having a specific day to give those thanks is good, I place a high degree of importance on making that recognition as close to daily as I can. None of my kids have ever missed a meal that I'm aware of. The preceeding sentence is about as telling of our good fortune as there could be. I have a small matter of my 10th Atlanta Half Mary to attend to in the am. The last few years, I was able to devote a few weeks of run training in advance of the race to be good and prepped to do my best. Didn't happen this year, so I'm really not expecting much - I'll run my hardest and see what I can get done. Best Thanksgiving wishes to my BT friends.

I was up before 5 and planned to get 10miles of running done early, early..Too drizzly, I'll wait 'til later. Well, later was just as rainy and it just never got done at all..Not optimal but quite frankly, I think I'm dealing with a delayed reaction from B2B. It's been a while since a half took so much out of me and I'm struggling to get going again. I'll be at the start line for the half but it ain't gonna be anything great, that's for sure.. OTOH, watching IMAZ all day makes me think of the possibilities 2010 could mean...
