First real crisp run of the season (about 36 to start) wore long sleeves, pants, gloves and a hat and was quite comfortable with the sun. Decided to run this one at marathon 'race pace' give or take. Pretty satisfied with how it felt. Return trip was about 3-4 seconds per mile than on way out.

Cool, dark fall evening. Wore long sleeves and gloves, shorts on the bottom. Time to get used to the cool temps. At turn around, stood and watched KM soccer game for a few minutes.

Thought I better run before I forgot how. Dark, chilly and rainy. Only 6 more months of this.

Having a little bit of soreness on the inside of my right knee. For a guy who loves running, any twinges are NOT welcome. Will keep an eye on it. Think my shoes might me reaching max mileage, so that could be contributing too.

  • 29m 20s
  • 3.10 miles

Trail portion between out and back. Distance is pretty much an estimate

  • Walking
  • 1h 00m

Started out with hike in our woods and the meadow below and then finished with walk around the neighborhood.

This is logged as two runs, but it is really just one. Did 6 out on glacier trail and was nearly as sluggish as yesterday. Decided it was my body telling it needed some rest, so I decided to turn around at 6 and then go on off road trail near the nature rescue center. This was awesome and I explored some areas that I had not explored before. Stopped and took lots of pictures. After a 1/2 hour of running around in the woods and meadows I was re-invigorated and ready run back for a negative split. Total run was about 15 miles. Total mileage for the weekend (fri, sat and Sun) was about 28.
