Hey, look at that, it is race week. Finally sent my registration in (mailed it old school) for haunted hustle marathon last week and then saw they had announced on friday it was sold out. E-mailed race director and confirmed that I had made the cut-off and was in. So now I just need to race. Still having a bit of twinge in my knee (not really pain, just don't know how to describe it) Don't really feel it when I run, only when I walk. Oh well, it will give me something to obsess about this week.

First real crisp run of the season (about 36 to start) wore long sleeves, pants, gloves and a hat and was quite comfortable with the sun. Decided to run this one at marathon 'race pace' give or take. Pretty satisfied with how it felt. Return trip was about 3-4 seconds per mile than on way out.

let's call it a rest day

Cool, dark fall evening. Wore long sleeves and gloves, shorts on the bottom. Time to get used to the cool temps. At turn around, stood and watched KM soccer game for a few minutes.

Thought I better run before I forgot how. Dark, chilly and rainy. Only 6 more months of this.

Having a little bit of soreness on the inside of my right knee. For a guy who loves running, any twinges are NOT welcome. Will keep an eye on it. Think my shoes might me reaching max mileage, so that could be contributing too.
