I need to nail down my race schedule for the season and maybe actually register for some stuff.  I don't really like this floating around kind of stuff.  After logging a lot of miles last year and anticipating doing at least as much this year, I do need some down time.  However I would like it to be focused down time and really I am ready to get to more serious training.

UPDATE my mileage for the week is pretty weak, but these runs are feeling pretty good, with nice paces.  I must say that dark and cold is really starting to get old.

Hills and slippery conditions pretty hard on my hips and hip flexors

Tried to pick a route less traveled.  However less-traveled is different than no-traveled.  Also less traveled means less plowed.  About 80% of this was on snow covered and/or very slick, packed snow/ice-ish.  Really felt much more like a trail run, than a road run and that is just fine.  Lots of hills to keep it fun too.  Was looking forward to some forcasted sun, which never showed up though.
