AS expected (hoped), body beat back whatever was trying to invade and I feel much better today.  If that continues, I will run around the Pettit tonight.

started feeling crummy in the afternoon.  Achy, headache, chilled, sour stomach and very tired.  I rarely get sick, but a couple times a year I feel like something is coming on.  My body usually fights it off and its back to business.  Declare today a rest day to let my body do its thing.

I need to nail down my race schedule for the season and maybe actually register for some stuff.  I don't really like this floating around kind of stuff.  After logging a lot of miles last year and anticipating doing at least as much this year, I do need some down time.  However I would like it to be focused down time and really I am ready to get to more serious training.

UPDATE my mileage for the week is pretty weak, but these runs are feeling pretty good, with nice paces.  I must say that dark and cold is really starting to get old.
