Glacier trail starting in Waukesha and ran out to Wales. This was less than perfect as it warm and I didn't have enough water with me (and drinking fountains are not turned on yet. Also forgot sunscreen, luckily it got cloudy on return trip. Would rather have been on the trails, but ran into lrunfit and had a nice chat with my-soon to be neighbor. Also had a Ross sighting.

Having some kind of issue with pinky toe bleeding (like through the sock) on my long runs. Not sure what the problem is.

Ok. I am usual open to change, but I am not liking the new site at all.  Ok I switched to google chrome and that has helped, but still not a huge fan right now.  Rode my bike today and was starting to enjoy it and then I got a flat on turn around.  Had to call my wife to pick me up because not enough time to attempt to change tire.  No wonder I only run these days.  Maybe this is a sign it is time to move on.

Just a run in the warm sun.  Another even paced run, as return trip was one second faster than way out.

Lapham Peak trail run

I have decided to cancel my health club membership.  It is getting too expensive and I (almost) never use it.  In some ways, it is an admission that my tri days are just about over.  The door is still pretty much open that I may do a tri or two this summer.  However, long term, there is no long hours at the pool for me.  The silver lining I guess is that I will be doing it on my terms and not because I am being forced out by injury.  The passion and desire and just not there. Of course, never say never...

UPDATE If I am looking for passion, it is out on the trails! Awesome run tonight.  Distance is a guess, but really does it matter? A fellow running out there say to me "enjoy your run" and I thought to myself how can I not.  Perfect weather helped add to the joy of this run.

good old fashion rest day.
