Merry Christmas!  We had a nice morning, opened presents (a Team Estrogen gift certificate!), then had a yummy breakfast of pancakes and bacon from our Amish pig half.  It was interesting last night- we had dinner with our friends that we split the pig with and they served a pork roast, along with a Wegmans pork roast.  The Amish roast was far superior- better flavor, more tender, and less grainy.  The bacon was fantastic- definately fattier than what I used to get, but with a really nice and not overly salty pork flavor.

I ran outside today- it was chilly and snowing a little, but nice.  I got Yaktrax about 4 or so years ago and finally pulled them out of the box and put them on my shoes. They helped alot on the snow and ice, but definately made my feet ache a bit.  They'll take a little getting used to.

Now on to a warm shower, and making dinner (a rib roast from our local 1/2 steer).  Lovely day!

Trainer ride.  Better night in the ED last night, and it feels really good to be on vacation!
I've finally passed by time on the bike from 2009!  Not going to make my goal though :(.

Ran outside with Beth- it was fun actually, and I didn't actually freeze to death as I expected!  But the sidewalks were pretty snowy still so we went very slowly.
