I was going to run this morning but I woke up with a headache (and not a delayed hangover from Saturday!!), so I decided to do a strength workout in the gym instead.  ED shift tonight, on call tomorrow night :(.

Yesterday was a gorgeous and a blast.  I got in a workout early (good thing too- as it was my only shot!), then we picked up my older son at camp (so I have both my babies home now!!).  We stopped by to visit with friends on the way back and had a huge, fantastic lunch with steak and wine (they are winemakers) and salads.  Then we came back to our lake cottage and met up with friends on their boat, and had more wine.  Another boat full of friends then joined us, and we invited everyone back to our house for mixed grill and, you guessed it, wine.  See the theme?  I'm not moving particularly quickly this morning!

Lovely bike with my husband.  He was tired so we took it a little easy.  I did try to go harder up hills since I think I need to build leg strength.

I LOVE vacations!  It's been so much easier to get workouts in.  I really like getting them in early- I feel like I don't have that hanging over my head all day long.  I am over the hurdle of running before breakfast- that seems to be OK.  Now I just have to start getting myself out of bed at 5:30 or so so I can fit in a workout before work.  This getting up and running at 7:30 works well for vacation but won't fly in the real world! 

Golf with DH and the Kanes- I shot a 65 (9 holes) and never had a 10+ hole!  You can tell how badly I suck by how excited I am about this.
