Today is a rest day. I can see why after yesterday. I woke up before my alarm this morning, feeling good. A little stiff, a bit sore (ankles and calves still) but good. Started breaking in new running shoes tonight by wearing them around the house. Wore them for 1.5hrs and all felt good.

Bike on Technogym race model indoor excersize bike.
tension 5 of 12, cadence 90-95, watts 157-162 for a solid 48 minutes.

Ankles started hurting with about 12 min to go. Never had that before on a bike. A change in seating position helped. I don't think the bike I was riding really fits me no matter how it is adjusted. That may be the cause.

Mondays is the volleyball league I play in. I was really tired by this time, and the gym was COLD. Hard to get into it. Tough games, we ended up losing.

Good Start to my new training. It felt good. Some minor pain in my lower thighs and ankles when finished. I iced them, and then sat in the hottub at home. Felt good going to bed.

Lots of walking today. Boat show in Toronto, then shopping downtown. Wife wants a kayak and a small sailboat.

Found Beginner Triathlon this week, started reading. I think I want to "tri" it. I chose the 20 wk Olympic 2x Balanced plan. I am going to start Monday. Wish me luck.
