I am having a hard time getting motivated to crank up my training for Clearwater. This season is been tough mentally wise more than anything because anytime I began to get into some sort of training groove something would happened (injuries) and would disrupt the training forcing me to stop or slow down. That have made the cycles very inconsistent (which kills me) and my motivation is been just like that, some days is very high and some other is not. It is like somedays I think it is not worth it to push hard cuz I won’t be at the top of my game and as competitive as I would have wanted if I could have trained consistent for several months.

I am tempted to end my season, take a break for a few weeks and then start working towards 2008, but with my parents all excited about Clearwater I am not sure that will happen…

Yesterday I got a sports massage and wow, I am more sore today than yesterday! :) It seems my upper back shoulders are super tight, hence I will head back for another 1/2 session next week. Anyway I am feeling good overall although the stupid left foot is a bit iffy today which is very confusing. I ran a 1/2 marathon and I had no pain and now 4 days later it is a bit tender and has very mild pain. I won't take any chances this time; I will do all my PT stuff every day and do a preemptive strike cuz I really want to train my ass off for Clearwater. I can manage to put together consistent training for the next 5 weeks I should be able to post a solid race, and I REALLY REALLY think it is about time! :) 

Today - I'll play it by ear cuz my shoulders are very sore, but It will be either a swim + trainer or a short run + trainer
