Went out to do a faster run tonight and was able to get it done. This is going to be my base test run to gauge my fitness improvements. This run maps out to be 4.3 miles and Nike+ puts it at 4.53. I don’t know which to believe. Felt great to get out and run felt a little weak and HR was a bit high for the effort put out. I still think I am feeling the effects of my marathon. Hams are a little tight still.

Back to training tonight. Easy 4 mile run. Worked on getting my new iPod Nike+ configured and figured out. Ran a known 1 mile out then back to set the calibration. It took 3 times to get it right and on the checked it to make sure it measured correct on the slow back. Felt good for the first run after my marathon 8 days ago. Have a sore calf/Achilles tendon. I iced the leg and stretched it out good and it feels much better than it has all week.
